Our Gold Award winning Treccia mozzarella is created through a process of spinning, cutting and twisting.
The result is a wonderful shape with unique subtle differences in texture and consistency
with normal Fiordilatte.
It can be shaped up to a meter and it is particularly suitable for complex dishes served on big plates, for mozzarella sandwiches (where mozzarella basically replaces bread) and for interesting salads.
In 2012 Il Casaro has won the Gold Medal for the Langham Champion Fresh Unripened Cheese with "Mozzarella Treccia".
