Mozzarella “Fior di Latte” is a soft pure white cheese, traditionally from southern Italy. It has a soft and stringy texture with a very thin rind and delicate taste. When cut, it produces a white watery fluid with the aroma of milk enzymes.
In 2013 Il Casaro has won the Silver Medal for the Langham Champion Fresh Unripened Cheese with “Mozzarella Fiordilatte”.
